A bridal shower table starts with the meal you want to share. A seated brunch, a garden luncheon and a champagne-and-cake afternoon need different pieces, even when the colours are similar. These three bridal shower table ideas use The Plate Company’s rental collections and turn each palette into a specific order for 30 guests in Toronto or the GTA.
A charger, two salad/dessert plates per guest for a savoury course and fresh dessert service, a dinner fork, dinner knife, dessert spoon, napkin and the listed glasses. The 8-inch serving plates suit a lighter menu only if your caterer agrees. A full main course may need an additional dinner plate. Tables, chairs, tablecloths, flowers, coffee/tea service and setup are outside these examples.

Look 01 · Butter yellow · ivory · gold
Sunny Stripe: a butter-yellow garden brunch
Let the yellow-and-cream stripes carry the colour, then repeat yellow at the napkin edge. Belmont Gold gives the setting a warm finish; clear water tumblers keep the place setting light. This is the simplest of the three rental lists, with one drinking glass per guest.

Build the setting
Choose an ivory tablecloth and low white flowers so the scalloped edges remain visible. Place the napkin beside the plate rather than covering the stripes. For a compact brunch table, put the dessert spoon above the plate and leave the centre for shared food only if your table is wide enough.

| Scalloped Napkin - Yellow | 30 | $3.50 | $105.00 |
| Scalloped Glass - Clear - Water Tumbler | 30 | $3.00 | $90.00 |
Service check. This example includes water service. Add a separate flute, coupe or wine glass if you are serving a toast, cocktails or wine; one water tumbler does not cover a separate drinks service.
Look 02 · Ivory · botanical green · natural bamboo
Lily of the Valley: an ivory-and-green luncheon
For a bridal shower with a quieter palette, use the sculpted Lily of the Valley plates as the focal point. A white napkin with green edging picks up the botanical detail, while Classic Bamboo flatware adds natural texture. Windsor water goblets and wine glasses bring a little sparkle without adding another colour.

Build the setting
Keep the flowers white and green, and let the napkin trim be the small repeated accent. If the venue already has a textured or patterned tablecloth, keep the remaining accessories simple. Before ordering, check the plate stack against the venue’s table size and leave room for both glasses.

Service check. A water goblet and wine glass are separate rentals in this list. If your event is alcohol-free, ask whether you need the second glass for another drink; removing 30 wine glasses reduces the rental-piece subtotal by $75.
Look 03 · Blush pink · ivory · soft gold
Rosette: a romantic blush-and-ivory celebration
Build the table around Rosette’s floral details, then carry blush into the napkin edge and scalloped glassware. Blanc Gold flatware keeps the handles pale while adding a fine gold accent. The water tumbler and champagne coupe make this a two-glass setting for a luncheon with a separate toast.

Build the setting
Choose one family of pinks rather than matching every flower to the plate. Low arrangements leave the floral centre of the plate visible across the table. The catalogue photograph shows another Rosette styling; the product references and order list below specify this proposed pairing.

Service check. The coupe is allocated to the toast. If you also plan a cocktail hour, your bar team may need additional glasses. Do not assume that the glasses already set at each seat will also be available at the bar.
Make the order work
Match the rental list to the menu and venue
Count each course separately
The examples reserve 60 salad/dessert plates for 30 guests: one fresh plate for brunch or lunch and another for cake. Only 30 chargers sit on the tables. Keep the second 30 serving plates with the caterer until dessert. A charger is the decorative base; do not assume that food can be served directly on it. Check any proposed use with us.
If you add a salad starter, bread course or a larger main dish, add the relevant plates and utensils. If your caterer needs a separate dessert fork instead of the listed spoon, swap the utensil on the quote. For a buffet or food stations, ask about seconds, staff meals and backup pieces before confirming quantities.
Use the venue’s included pieces where they help
Ask the venue for an itemized tableware list and a photograph of its standard setting. You can rent just the accents you love—perhaps a Rosette plate and blush glass—while using the venue’s remaining pieces. For 30 guests, adding one bread plate from any of these three collections adds $99 before HST and delivery or pickup.
Our minimum is 25 pieces from each selected plate or glass set or collection. A 30-guest order with one of each listed piece meets that threshold; splitting a small shower among several different plate or glass collections may not. Ask us to check the quantities for the combinations you want.
Check the table before adding another layer
The chargers in these collections are 12.5 inches across. Measure the usable table space with the venue, especially if you want shared platters or two glasses at each seat. A sample place setting is a useful check for a small restaurant table. Leave room for the meal, the napkin and a comfortable reach to each glass.
Give the venue and caterer a clear handover
For a restaurant or event-space shower, confirm whether outside tableware is permitted, who receives the order, and when the team can set the tables. For an at-home or garden shower, identify the delivery access and a dry place to keep the packed pieces. Delivery does not include setting or clearing the tables.
Choose someone to scrape plates and cutlery, empty glasses and repack the rentals in their original packaging after the celebration. We handle the washing. See the rental FAQ for pickup, returns and booking arrangements, and our tableware rental cost guide for a fuller explanation of fees and budgeting.
Bridal shower rental questions
Can I rent only plates or only glasses?
Yes. These are suggested combinations, so your order can include just the pieces you need. Plate and glass selections remain subject to the 25-piece minimum per selected set or collection, and availability for your date and quantity.
Does the photo show exactly what the price includes?
The itemized list is the price reference. Collection photos show styling inspiration, and may use different glasses or accessories from our proposed pairing. Flowers, candles, lamps, tablecloths and other props are included only when specifically listed on your quote.
Can these settings work for a tea party?
The plates, napkins and flatware can form the starting point, but these examples do not include teacups, saucers, teapots or cake stands. Confirm tea and coffee service with your venue or caterer before treating the tableware list as complete.
How do I reserve a setting?
Send your event date, venue address, guest count, chosen look and menu or service plan. Include any pieces the venue provides and whether you need delivery or will collect the order. A listing or inquiry does not reserve stock: we confirm availability and booking requirements with your quote.
