01 / Pieces & quantities

Find the right pieces.

Is there a minimum quantity to rent?

Yes. The minimum is 25 pieces from each selected plate or glass set or collection. Mixing several collections does not combine them into one 25-piece minimum. Tell us which pieces you want and how many of each so we can confirm your selection meets the minimum.

My venue already has dishes. Can I rent just the pieces that make the table special?

Yes. You can build around your venue’s existing tableware with a patterned plate, coloured glass, napkin or flatware set. Send a photo of the venue’s place setting and your preferred rental pieces so we can help check the combination. Plate and glass selections are subject to the 25-piece minimum per set or collection.

Can I pair a charger from one collection with plates from another?

Yes—your pieces do not all need to come from one collection. A floral charger with a simpler plate, for example, can give the table detail without repeating the same pattern at every layer. Share your favourites with us and we can help consider their colours, shapes and proportions together.

I have 100 guests. Do I need 100 plates or more?

Count by course, not just by guest. If 100 guests each need a fresh plate for salad, dinner and dessert, that means 100 plates for each course—300 serving plates altogether, plus any chargers. Ask your caterer whether plates or cutlery will be reused between courses and whether they need extras for buffet seconds, staff meals or backup.

What is the difference between a charger and a dinner plate?

A charger is the larger base plate beneath the serving plates; a dinner plate holds the main course. A charger does not automatically replace a serving plate. If you want to serve food directly on a particular charger, check that piece’s suitability with us when choosing your order.

Does a collection photo include everything I see on the table?

No. Photos show styling ideas; flowers, candles, linens and other props are included only if they are specifically listed on your quote. Open the collection pages to see the available rental pieces, then check your quote for each item, quantity and price.

02 / Booking & pricing

Know what you’re booking.

How early should I book, and does a listing mean the pieces are available?

Inquire once you have an event date, venue and approximate guest count, especially if you have your heart set on a particular collection. A piece appearing on the website does not confirm availability for your date or quantity. We check both when preparing your quote.

What should I send you for an accurate quote?

Include your event date, venue address, estimated guest count, preferred pieces and quantities, and whether you need delivery or will collect the order. A menu or service plan helps us check your plate and cutlery counts. If you need delivery, include the venue’s access times and any stairs, elevator or loading restrictions in your inquiry.

Is the website price for one plate or a whole place setting?

Prices are in Canadian dollars for the listed rental item. A collection’s “from” price is its lowest-priced piece, not the cost of a complete place setting. Check the individual item descriptions—particularly for flatware or glassware sets—and your quote for exactly what each price covers.

What costs should I budget for beyond the rental pieces?

Your total includes the selected rentals, applicable HST and a 10% Inventory Wear and Tear fee. Delivery and pickup charges depend on the arrangements for your event; difficult access or additional trips can also affect the cost. Delivery does not include setup or takedown. Review the itemized quote before confirming your booking.

When is my booking confirmed, and when do I pay?

A quote alone does not confirm a booking. Our booking process requires acceptance of the rental agreement and a 50% deposit of the total contract amount. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your earliest event date, or before services or delivery if earlier. Your quote and agreement set out the payment details.

Can I change quantities after booking if my guest count changes?

Contact us as soon as your numbers change. Quantity reductions are limited by how close you are to the event; your rental agreement sets out the permitted reductions. No reductions are accepted within 14 days. Request increases before your final order deadline so we can check availability and confirm the revised quantities.

What happens if I cancel or move my event?

The 50% booking deposit is non-refundable. Under our standard terms, cancellations within 14 days of the event are charged the full contract amount. If your date changes, contact us promptly so we can check availability and discuss how your agreement applies; the original booking does not automatically transfer to a new date.

03 / Delivery & pickup

Plan the arrival and collection.

Can you deliver to my venue in Toronto or the GTA?

We serve Toronto, the GTA and surrounding areas from Aurora. Send your venue address, event date and order size so we can confirm delivery arrangements and quote the cost. Include both the delivery and collection requirements—your venue may have different rules for each.

Can I collect the rentals myself, and how long can I keep them?

Yes. Under our standard pickup arrangements, collect one business day before your event and return one business day afterward, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Confirm the actual dates with us, especially around weekends and holidays. Longer rental periods need to be arranged in advance and may have different rates.

Does delivery include setting every place at the table?

No. Delivery fees do not include table setup, clearing or takedown. Arrange who will unpack the rentals, set the tables, clear them and repack the order—usually in coordination with your caterer, planner or venue team. If you need additional help, raise it while we prepare the quote so the scope is clear.

My venue has stairs or a strict loading window. What do you need to know?

Tell us about stairs, elevators, loading docks, parking, long carry distances and uneven ground before booking. Our standard delivery and pickup arrangements require a three-hour window; let us know if the venue allows less time. Difficult access, extra handling or an unsuccessful trip can incur additional charges.

Can I see the pieces in person before choosing?

Yes. Our showroom is at 75 Kennedy St. West, Aurora, and visits are by appointment only. Arrange a visit and tell us which collections you want to compare. Bring your linen swatch, invitation or a photo of the venue’s tableware if you want to see how the colours work together.

04 / Washing & returns

After the last toast.

Do I have to wash the dishes after the event?

No—we handle the washing. Scrape food from plates and cutlery and empty all liquids from glasses before repacking them. Let your caterer or cleanup team know this in advance, and follow any item-specific care instructions we provide.

What should I do if something arrives chipped, damaged or missing?

Check the order when it arrives, before items are distributed around the venue. Set any damaged piece aside, take a photo and contact us promptly with the item name and quantity affected. Reporting it at the start helps us distinguish an arrival issue from damage during the event and discuss the next steps with you.

How should the rentals be packed and left for pickup?

Return every item in the same packaging it arrived in, including the boxes, crates and racks. Keep the complete order together in one accessible collection area, ready for the scheduled pickup. Orders scattered across the venue, not repacked or inaccessible can require extra time or trips and incur additional charges.

What if a plate breaks or a glass goes missing?

You are responsible for rented items and their packaging while they are in your possession, including damage or loss involving guests or contractors. Let us know about any breakage or missing pieces. Replacement charges depend on the item and our ability to restock it; damage assessments may take up to 14 business days after the event.

Does the 10% wear and tear fee cover accidental breakage?

No. The Inventory Wear and Tear fee covers normal, moderate wear from typical use. It does not cover broken, damaged or missing items, which are assessed separately. It is not a damage waiver.

Do I get a refund for plates we didn’t use?

No. Unused rental items are not eligible for refunds. Confirm your quantities with your caterer before the adjustment deadline, and return unused pieces along with the rest of the order.

These answers summarize our standard rental arrangements. Your confirmed quote and rental agreement set out the terms for your order.
